Cornel West Calls President Obama a Black Mascot

Cornel West spits fire at President Obama saying he is "a black mascot of Wall Street
oligarchs and a black puppet of corporate plutocrats....he has become head of the American killing machine and is proud of it." He proceeds to say that "Barack Obama has a certain fear of free black men [,and] feels most comfortable with upper middle-class white and Jewish men who consider themselves very smart." 


Mister West, where is all this coming from? Once upon a time not such a long a time ago, you supported this man. Could it be what you shared with TruthDig columnist Chris Hedges? That "[you] used to call [your] dear brother [Obama] every two weeks...said a prayer on the phone for him, especially before a debate, and [you] never got a call back?" 


It's beginning to look like Professor Cornel West's words have become his own personal elixir of scholarly knowledge and unrequited sentiments. It just might be that his own babbling is giving him an appearance of tipsy in the public eye.  If President Obama had time to care, I imagine he would say, "Either you love me, or you love me not. Make up your mind!" Apparently it is indeed possible to support a man and turn your back on him all at the same time. Congratulations mister West for managing to perform this hybrid sort of act.
