Your Black World reports
The Nevada Supreme Court refuses to hear O.J. Simpson's appeal. Currently, Simpson is to serve
nine to thirty-three years in prison as penalty for his 2007 armed confrontation in a Las Vegas hotel room.
One of Simpson's lawyers is reported to have said that he understands the Nevada court overturning the appeal. Lawyer Malcolm LaVergne said, "What judge wants to be put in the position that they let O.J. go free?" LaVergne also shared with The Associated Press that he is taking the case to federal court.
