Your Black News:

Two men in a gold Toyota Corolla are suspects in the assault of an unidentified Georgia Tech student before dawn Monday.

The student was walking home from campus in Northwest Atlanta when the men, one holding a semi-automatic handgun, forced him to his knees and stole his cell-phone and wallet --- then kicked him in the head.

He had several hundred dollars on him, according to his father.

The student dragged himself home where he called his parents and police. He was treated at Grady Hospital for a mild concussion and released hours later.

According to residents in the surrounding area, a string of violent robberies and assaults have decreased the property value because students are becoming afraid to live in the area.
