Championship Tennis star, Serena Williams posted a racy avatar picture to her Twitter account Thursday afternoon. In the avatar, Williams is wearing only undergarments and high-heeled shoes behind a sheer curtain. News of the sexy picture quickly spread around the web, and Williams removed the picture about four hours after uploading it to her account.
Internet criticism followed at a rapid pace, and it's suggested that someone close to her advised that she change the avatar.
The question being asked around the Internet is, "Was the picture too sexy?" Also, references were made to the stalker who was arrested on the grounds of Williams' Palm Beach, Florida estate last week. Court records state the 40-year-old man used Twitter updates to ascertain Williams' whereabouts in order to stalk her.
