In case you haven't heard. Melle Mel from the legendary rap group Granndmaster Flash and the Furious Five is getting his own reality show. The show is called Grandmaster Fitness with Melle Mel and is set to air on several New York City public access network's this summer. This show is very timely because terrible eating and sedentary lifestyles have seriously affected families across our Nation. Melle Mel promises to keep things up beat and lively and not stick to a boring played-out script.
"The Bronx - and America - needs to get fit. Were sofa kings, fat sofa kings," said Melle Mel during a recent interview with the New York Daily News.
Grandmaster Fitness with Melle Mel will air on Manhattan Neighborhood Network, BronxNet, and Brooklyn's Brick Art Media Channel.
