Green Bay Packer Player Arrested for Domestic Violence

Your Black World reports

Erik Walden, an outside linebacker for the Green Bay Packers, has been charged with suspicion of felony domestic violence. He is currently being held in the Brown County Jail until Monday.

Walden is being accused of attacking his girlfriend at the apartment that the two share with one another.

The Packers organization released this statement: ’’The Packers organization is aware of the situation involving Erik Walden. We are in the process of gathering more information and will refrain from making any further comment.”

The alleged incident took place at roughly 2:30 am on Thanksgiving day. The woman called 911 at 6:10 am and was treated at a local hospital for her injuries. That’s when Walden was arrested.

Walden is 26-years old and joined the Packers last season. He played in 12 games in the regular season and playoffs. He has started all 11 games this season, where the team has remained undefeated. His girlfriend was treated for a bump on her head and an injured right hand.

“The officer felt that were was enough information that was given by the victim that the male was arrested,” a police spokesperson said.
