Rakheem Bolton in News Again

Former high school basketball player, Rakheem Jamal Bolton, 19, made national news again this week when the U.S. Supreme Court refused to hear the appeal of the cheerleader he was accused of sexually assaulting in 2008. The cheerleader sued the Silsbee Independent School District unsuccessfully for removing her from the cheerleading squad after refusing to cheer for Bolton during a 2009 game.

The Silsbee High School cheerleader, known in court records as H.S., alleged Bolton and two other boys attacked her at an off-campus party in 2008. Bolton was indicted but plead guilty to a lesser charge in September 2010. The judge sentenced him to one year in jail, but suspended the sentence and ordered two years of probation, a $2500 fine, 150 hours of community service and anger management classes.

High schools have a social structure that should be familiar to everyone who bothers to read this.

Then why was this guy convicted of assault? Is the rapist in question anonymously posting about this?
